Learn how you can meet your weight goals.

Are you tired of charts and pre-determined meal plans to lose unwanted pounds? Do you think you can’t lose weight because your metabolism is too slow?

Achieving a healthy weight is very possible and beneficial for everyone. Studies show that excess weight or body fat increases the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure and other debilitating conditions. Decreasing this risk is as much a priority as slimming waistlines.

We’ll start by seeing where you stand.

The key to losing weight is burning more calories than you eat. Yet do you know how many calories you should eat, and how many calories you need to burn per day? The first thing we’ll do is find answers to these questions by:

1) Checking your baseline metabolic rate to see how many calories your body burns at rest.

2) Doing a body composition analysis to determine percentages of body fat, body lean and body water. (These can be factors in determining your metabolic rate.)

3) Performing a detailed diet analysis to see what you are eating and how many calories you take in per day.

Together, this information will give us a picture of how many calories you are burning compared to how many calories you are consuming. The results from the tests will also determine what your body needs to reach a desired weight.

You’ll understand your options…and we’ll track your progress.

The results of our initial evaluations will help you understand what’s really going on inside your body to make more informed decisions about diet and behavior.

Working together, we’ll develop a weight loss program that works for you – with realistic goals and nutritional steps you can manage. The baseline data we collect will also help show progress you make – success that can keep you motivated and moving on the path to better weight and health.
